Dr. Behnam Bohluli

Dr. Bohluli is internationally considered a leader in oral and maxillofacial surgery.He has performed more than 4,000 major and several thousands minor oral and facial surgeries over his 20 year career. Dr. Bohluli is especially interested in managing complicated surgical cases, as he believes a successful comprehensive procedure can be indispensable in achieving the patient’s goals.In addition to his busy clinical practice, he is actively involved in academia and scientific research. He hasfrequently lectured in international meetings, and his scientific efforts have led to 44 publications inmajor surgical journals and 40 book chapters commonly referenced in this field. He also serves as a reviewer in many high ranking surgery journals and has recently edited and co-edited three major textbooks in this field.Dr. Bohluli has had the opportunity to teach at the University of Toronto over the past seven years. Thishas allowed him to become accustomed to North American perspectives with regard to surgicalconcepts. Moreover, he has the honor of being certified by three prestigious North American boards:the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery, the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery,and the Canadian Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Masoud Varshosaz

Dr. Masoud Varshosaz graduated in 1992 with DDS degree and completed a specialty program in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist in 1995 in Iran. Dr. Varshosaz is a board-certified Oral radiologist in Canada and ABOMR eligible. He has been involving in teaching and private practice in oral radiology both here in Canada and back home ever since he graduated. Dr. Varshosaz is honored to have been an assistant professor and director of the oral radiology program in one of the highest ranked University in Iran. He is a clinical associate at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. Dr. Varshosaz is a fellow of RCDSO, member of Canadian Academy of Oral and Maxillofocial radiologist, American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial radiology, Ontario Dental Association, and associate/consultant oral radiologist at private radiology centers in USA and Canada.

Dr. Maziar Shahzad Dowlatshahi, Doctor of Dental Surgery, is a Canadian board-certified dentist and has a Registered General License, RCDSO, Canada. He earned his D.D.S Degree, followed by a Master of Periodontics and Fellowship in Implant Dentistry, from the most well known dental school (Shahid Beheshti University) in Tehran, Iran in 1994. In 2013, he moved to Canada and received his equivalent certificate (General License), with the highest possible score on the first attempt, from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.

He also holds certificates in Advanced Bone Augmentations from the University of Bern, Switzerland, and advanced Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) from the University of Vienna, Austria and has a fellowship in implant dentistry from DentalXP Globe in the United States.

Dr. Dowlatshahi was an Assistant Professor and Head of the Research Department of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in Iran. He also served as the Chairman of the International MINEC study club from 2010-2013 and as a member of Clinical and Research Affairs at Claronav company in Canada in 2018.

To date, he has completed more than 15,000 complicated implant surgeries.

Dr. Dowlatshahi has a great passion for teaching and learning. He frequently gives international lectures, webinars, and hands-on training to his fellow dentists and has recently founded the Implant Diary Study Club to teach students and dentists modern implant techniques.

He has also invented software to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of periodontal diseases based upon logistic regression and artificial intelligence. Outside of dentistry, art is Dr. Dowlatshahi’s life-long passion, and he has also written and directed plays for live theatre.
