Our 5,000+ sq. ft., well-equipped clinic in beautiful Richmond Hill combines modern dental technologies with the expertise of our clinicians to deliver precise, comfortable care and a pleasant patient experience. We provide comprehensive dental specialty services—including ORIS Smile Design and Sleep Dentistry—supported by on-site CBCT imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
We are a referral-based centre: patients are seen upon receipt of a colleague’s letter of referral, and we coordinate closely with the referring provider to develop a treatment plan that meets the patient’s needs. Multidisciplinary case discussions are available when beneficial, and we share consultation notes and progress reports promptly.

Dr. Behnam Bohluli is internationally regarded as a leader in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Over a 20-year career, he has performed more than 4,000 major and several thousand minor oral and facial surgeries. Dr. Bohluli has a particular interest in complex surgical cases, believing that comprehensive, well-planned procedures are indispensable to achieving each patient’s goals.
In addition to a busy clinical practice, Dr. Bohluli is actively involved in academia and research. He has frequently lectured at international meetings, and his scientific work includes 44 publications in major surgical journals and 40 book chapters commonly referenced in the field. He serves as a reviewer for several high-ranking surgery journals and has recently edited or co-edited three major textbooks.
Dr. Bohluli has taught at the University of Toronto for the past seven years, gaining deep familiarity with North American surgical concepts and standards. He is certified by three prestigious North American boards: the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery, the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the Canadian Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Ali Shakib is an experienced Toronto-area dentist. He earned his dental degree in 1995 from Tehran University in Iran, then completed a four-year postgraduate specialty in cosmetic and restorative dentistry at Melli University in 2001. He taught dentistry for more than a decade at the university level while maintaining a private clinical practice.
Dr. Shakib’s commitment to excellence is anchored by a keen focus on aesthetics, function, and quality—principles that guide his treatment planning. His conservative, minimally invasive approach is complemented by the use of metal-free, biocompatible materials to deliver durable, natural-looking results.
He is proud to serve patients at Oris Dental Clinics in Richmond Hill, providing restorative and esthetic care and welcoming consultations. With a passion for lifelong learning, Dr. Shakib has completed training in the management of dental emergencies and the use of nitrous oxide sedation to support patients with dental anxiety. He is a member in good standing of the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association, and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
